DAYS 2–3 Ghan Adelaide to Alice Springs

The journey from Adelaide to Alice Springs takes you through some of the most dramatic and breathtaking scenery on the planet. DAY 4 Alice Springs Luxury Tour

Your Central Australian adventure starts off today by exploring the modern face of the historic pioneer town of Alice Springs, famous for Afghan cameleers, gold-diggers, flying doctor base, school of the air, The Ghan train, the usually dry Todd River, the Simpson Desert, 'A Town Like Alice', contemporary Aboriginal art (Todd Mall) and the Aboriginal Arrernte people who have lived here for 20,000 years. DAY 5 Tour from Alice Springs to Ayers Rock

DAY 12 Darwin Tour, Sunset Cruise & Special Dinner

Enjoy a leisurely start to your day today before your fascinating 4 hour guided tour of Darwin’s rich culture and history. DAY 13 Kakadu Luxury Day Tour & Cruise

World Heritage-listed Kakadu is internationally famous for very good reason. Experience Australia’s biggest national park - with its dramatic escarpments, tropical rainforest, lush wetlands, millions of migratory birds, thundering waterfalls, sparkling waterholes, crocodiles, rock art galleries (up to 50,000 years old) and traditional aboriginal owners, the happy and proud Bininj / Mungguy people.

At Kakadu National Park on the South Alligator River, take a short guided walk to Nourlangie Rock to see ancient Aboriginal rock art (optional but included in the price), enjoy a tropical buffet lunch (cold meats, salad and fruit), take a 1.5 hour guided cruise on Yellow Water Billabong, spotting for crocodiles, brolgas, magpie geese and kites. DAY 14 Jumping Crocodiles Luxury Day Tour & Cruise

Enjoy some free-time this morning to explore Darwin before you set off for an exciting afternoon.

Travel inland to cruise a section of the Adelaide River. The Adelaide River starts in Litchfield National Park and is well known for its high concentration of saltwater crocodiles, along with other wildlife. An excellent opportunity to observe these primeval creatures as you cruise along the Adelaide River.

Today you will cruise the Adelaide River in crocodile infested waters, visit the Wetlands Visitor Centre, see Fogg Dam Nature Reserve. Today is an amazing adventure.

DAY 15 Litchfield Luxury Day Tour

This is a truly beautiful and spiritual destination. The iconic Litchfield National Park is famous for stunning cascading tropical waterfalls, warm swimming holes, the Tabletop Range sandstone plateau, monsoon tropical rainforests, intriguing magnetic termite mounds and ancient aboriginal sites of the Wagait people. Significant attractions include Florence Falls, Buley Rockhole, Wangi Falls, Tolmer Falls, Tjaetaba Falls, Tjaynera Falls (Sandy Creek), Surprise Creek Falls, Blyth Homestead and Bamboo Creek.
 
Today you will discover Litchfield, including Florence Falls, the termite mounds, Wangi Falls, Tolmer Falls, Buley Rockhole and will have the opportunity to take a dip in refreshing natural plunge pools boarded by magnificent pandanas palms.

We skirt Francis Bay on Darwin Harbour, head south out of Darwin on the Stuart Highway, take a short break at the town of Batchelor, stop at the Meridian Termite Mounds (learn about Cathedral and Magnetic Termite Mounds), visit Florence Falls (stunning views, perhaps walk down to the plunge pool for a swim in this beautiful oasis), visit Buley Rockhole (cascades and many rockpools offer an opportunity for a refreshing swim), perhaps take a walk to Tolmer Falls (breathtaking valley with a waterfall and distant views toward the coast over cattle stations), see monsoon forests and woodland areas, enjoy a homestyle lunch (with cold meats, salad and tea or coffee), visit Wangi Falls and plunge pool (perhaps take a dip or a stroll through lush tropical forest or relax and just take it all in).
